All participants are invited to register and submit abstracts of scientific communications which will be peer-reviewed by the International Organizing Committee and published in the CD of abstracts distributed to all congress attendants.
The preference between oral communication or poster presentation should be indicated by the applicant during the submission process. Out of the submitted proposals, 30 oral communications will be selected by the International Organizing Committee.
Please prepare your abstract with the Template. Save your abstract in PDF format. All abstracts must be submitted not later than May 30th, 2014 for the SECOND CALL FOR ABSTRACTS. Please name your abstract as “Lastname_Name” (i.e. “Einstein_Albert”), and upload your file in “.pdf”, “.doc” or “.docx” format to the website. Please, do not use accents, spaces or any other symbols because the system does not allow them. Please note that abstracts sent by fax or regular mail will not be accepted. Please prepare your abstract according to the instructions and abstract example. Submissions of hardcopy abstracts will not be accepted.

The submitting author must register for the ISE14 Congress before or at the same time submitting the abstract.
Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. The submitting author will be notified about the final decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of the presentation until June 15, 2014.

Analytical methods in phytochemical analysis
Bioactivity and mechanisms of action of natural and synthetic compounds
Metabolomics and food plants.
Nature-based design of bioactive compounds
Phytochemistry and Chemosystematics

The duration of plenary and keynote lectures will be 40 min and of short lectures 20 min plus 5 min for discussion.
For oral presentations the following equipment is available: PC, beamer (single projection).

Participants are responsible for mounting their posters and removing them. The organizers will provide the equipment needed. The size of the posters should be 90 cm x 110 cm (width x height).
Posters will be on display in sessions for one day each (September 24 and 25th). Posters of the first session will have to be removed on September 25th, 2014, before 9:00 AM, so that posters of the session two can be mounted.

Six poster awards will be awarded to students with the best posters. The awards will be presented during the closing ceremony.
Criteria for eligibility for Poster Awards:
- Inspiration (creativity, novelty, uniqueness, originality)
- Work (experimental execution, scope and completeness of the work)
- Presentation (overall readability, visual impression, author´s explanation, formal compliance)
