El objetivo del minicurso es introducir a los participantes en los principales marcos teórico- estructurales de la Etnoecología y su aplicación para el estudio integral del uso de recursos herbolarios en una sociedad dada. Basado en las principales visiones actuales en la literatura internacional, se analizarán algunas de las ideas más consensuadas, las evidencias y las limitaciones que ellas poseen para abordar este estudio de características complejas.

Práctico: Análisis y aplicación de distintos tipos de encuestas. Lectura de una breve historia de vida. Proyección de un film etnográfico con historia de vida. El proceso de cotejo, verificación y confrontación de la información.
